Professor Selina Todd will be the new President of the Socialist Education Association

Professor Selina Todd, Tutorial Fellow in History at St Hilda's College and Professor in Modern British History, History Faculty, University of Oxford, has accepted nomination as the new President of the Socialist Educational Association. She replaces the former Director of the Oxford Department of Education, Professor Richard Pring.

Professor Todd's most recent major work was the acclaimed bestseller 'The People: the Rise and Fall of the Working Class 1910 to 2010' (John Murray, London, 2014). In 2014 she delivered the SEA’s Caroline Benn Memorial Lecture on “The Golden Age of the Grammar School: Exploding the Myth”.
