'Home, I'm Darling', starring Katherine Parkinson, wins the Olivier Award for best new comedy
Theatr Clwyd has won the Olivier Award 2019 for best new comedy for its production of 'Home, I'm Darling'. It was also nominated in four other categories. The show was co-produced with the National Theatre and follows one woman's quest to be the "perfect 1950s housewife" in the present day. St Hilda's alumna, Katherine Parkinson (Classics, 1996) plays the lead role of Judy, for which she was nominated for best actress.
Many congratulations to everyone involved!
