St Hilda’s College Development Office is recruiting for a Development Administrator to support our fundraising, communications and events.
We seek a talented and reliable person with initiative for this important role; it would suit someone looking to start a career in alumni/ae relations, communications or fundraising - or making a career change into this growing field. The Development Administrator role is a varied and busy one and provides essential support for all aspects of our fundraising campaign, Building the Future, and related events and communications. Key tasks include processing gifts, setting up and assisting with events bookings and enquiries and dealing with day-today administration in our busy Development Office.
We offer training in all aspects of the work, including using a customer relationship database, running events and preparing communications. St Hilda’s is a welcoming place to work and the post-holder would be joining our team at an exciting time – with Phase II of our successful fundraising campaign due to start early in 2020.
This is a full-time position (35 hours per week), however, we are willing to consider part-time working applications from suitable candidates (28 hours per week/ 0.8 FTE would be a minimum, with some flexibility during the summer vacation).
The salary is in the range of £22,419-£25,000 pa (pro-rata for a part-time post holder) equivalent to grade 4 on the University’s salary scales.
The post is offered as a fixed one-year contract but may be extended - subject to funding.
