College Library

You can search the College Library's physical holdings and online resources as well as resources across the rest of the University via SOLO. This short animated video demonstrates how to use SOLO to find or request what you need from the College collections.

For more details about the Library and its services, current students can visit the Library WebLearn pages (login using single-sign on). You can also follow the Library on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

Opening times

At present, the library is open to all current students and staff from 8am to 1am daily.

You no longer need a booking to stay and study but please note that entry logs from the door will be used to fulfil our track and trace obligations. Make sure to tap your BodCard to enter, even if you are following another user.

66 study spaces are now available, spaced 1m apart, and all possible windows are open for ventilation (wrap up warm!). Hand sanitising and the wearing of face coverings is strongly recommended to keep the library safe for all users and staff.

Please note that some building improvement works will be taking place in the library before term starts. Book shelves will remain accessible as far as possible. Though individual study areas may be closed off at times, study spaces elsewhere, computers and printing will remain available. If you are unable to get to a book you need, please contact Library staff who will be able to retrieve it for you and leave it for collection from the College Lodge.

All remote services remain in place for students who are studying away from Oxford, self-isolating or would prefer not to visit the Library in person.

To contact the library, please email or phone 01865 276849.
