Translating Greek Tragedy in Sixteenth Century Europe
The Translating Greek Tragedy in Sixteenth Century Europe Conference is being supported by St Hilda's College, the University of Oxford, the Archive of Performances of Greek and Roman Drama, the Université de la Réunion and the research laboratory DIRE. The speakers and conveners are scholars from around the world, who specialise in sixteenth-century translations of Greek tragedies. The programme one-day seminar includes ten talks, a plenary discussion and a book launch at the end of the day.
