Perception and the Brain
The 'Brain and Mind' series of interdisciplinary workshops looks at brain-related issues from the point of view of neuroscience, psychology, clinical medicine and philosophy. The workshops attract a broad audience, including academics, students, and the general public. Previous workshops have covered topics as diverse as schizophrenia, music, addiction, and bilingualism.
The series continues this Michaelmas Term with an interactive workshop on Perception and the Brain. In this interactive workshop, three speakers will investigate perception from the point of view of neuroscience, psychology and philosophy. The speakers are Professor Kristine Krug, University of Oxford (Neuroscience), Brian Rogers, University of Oxford (Psychology) and Craig French, University of Nottingham (Philosophy). There will be opportunities for questions and discussion.
The workshop is free but places must be booked. Reserve your place here.
