We were honoured to be joined by our alumna Dr Anneliese Dodds MP (PPE 1996) at our Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) seminar on 8 November 2017.

The PPE seminar was organised by 3rd year PPE student Shasta Kaul with Professor Petra Schleiter. It was attended by St Hilda's students and college members. Anneliese spoke about about the result of the 2017 general election, possible reasons for it, reactions to it, and the implications for Brexit. She also discussed her life as a politician in a shadow role and her ongoing work to encourage people to vote, and to understand the reasons why they don't, in an uncertain future.
