2020 PD James English Event
Guest Lecture with poet, Frances Leviston (English, 2000)
In 2006 Frances received an Eric Gregory Award from the Society of Authors. Public Dream, her first collection, was published in 2007 by Picador and shortlisted for the T S Eliot Prize, the Forward Prize for Best First Collection and the Jerwood-Aldeburgh First Collection Prize. Her poems have appeared in the New Yorker, Poetry, London Review of Books, the Guardian, The Times, the TLS, Edinburgh Review, Granta/British Council New Writing, and various anthologies. She is a member of the Folio Academy. She lives in Durham and lectures in Creative Writing at the University of Manchester.
